Seriously, this is out of control. Let us connect to the remote connections. And let us download these patches faster. Not many people play in the south east so i have like 4 local connections... max i'v seen has been 10... my download speed is SLOWER THAN IT WAS 10 YEARS AGO ON MY DIAL UP. Its a JOKE. I can't believe such a reputable company can't make a downloader that works. Also why does my download speed always start off at 50-100kb/s then randomly drop to 0. Did they program some code to make it stop and allow others to download from me? Let me finish the ******* download I'v been at 90% for 45 minutes on a patch that can't be more than 100mb....... 1.18a. FIX YOUR ISSUES OR THIS GAME WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO LIFE.

Yea , i have played Inde games with a 10 man dev team thats had better patchers , ouch.

if it gets hung up cancel and start it again works for me 99% of the time that happens.

The download IS up now around the internet.
I really want to post it here for everyone, but i'll get moderated.
Just search for Final Fantasy XIV 1.18a download torrent or something like that.
usually you just have to wait until someone finishes downloading it who will post it up.
Which is... ANNOYING, but by now it's up.
