Help me get back to FFXIV:ARR. I've got bored of the game

Hello,

I've played more then i can think FF14:ARR. I have almost all classes max level, lots of crafting classes but i've got tired of the grind. It was fun while the leveling curve was active but now i am lost.
Currently, i am playing a SMN ilvl100 or so. I've stoped farming books for Novus. Atma was a pain in the ass. Books, 1st book made me tired waiting in an area for a fate to top.
I am an active human being, i go to gym 5 times, i work and i cant find WHAT to do to love back the game. Due to respect for the Yoshida and his team, for what they did with the game, i will keep for a long time the account active even i dont play.
As for achievements, i dont have Ninja class, i dont have Novus, i havent farmed Extreme encounters and ive stopped i think at Coil5.
I am looking forward for a map or a guide of at least what to do in order to get online. Any help, any links, anything...i just want to get the thrill of playing the game again.

1. Start a second character. watch and read all the cutscenes. Enjoy.
2. Stop jobbing. Play as the base class (it's still against the rules to troll-kick these folks) in higher level content. Or better yet, do some hard content with a party full of non-jobbers. This is serious fun when with a group. everything changes.

within that same vain, i ran aurum vale with a preform of some fc memebers and did the whole thing with defiance off
with 2 black mages
only lost aggro the couple of times in the beginning that they decided to start nuking things before i even hit them

what is your main goal in the game? Is it to do end game content? If so how is your static and are you gearing up your main? Doing hunts to get your iLV130 gear? Helping out other FC members? Since you got crafting up to 50 maybe aim to start a empire?

Quite a few things to do in this game for myself my main thing is end game raiding but I also run my own FC and enjoy running it while helping out my FC members.

Also GS is out soon, which is going to add loads more things to do.

or maybe even transfer over to a new server? have a fresh start with new peeps.

have you done all your logs (hunting, sightseeing, etc.)? When I get bored I spend a day just taking really cool screenshots. I also set goals for myself (like get all my crystals up to 1000 each). If nothing works, then just take a break. Sometimes it's good to take a month or two and play something else. It will make you appreciate it even more.

Something ive alway found fun is doing unconventional stuff like 4x summoner dungeons, doing "casual" grinds like the relics with a small group of friends or finding something big and mean like gorgimera and soloing it as idk sch. Oh TS3 if you're on pc can get outright hilarious with a group of friends. Something i want to try is 8 warrior twintania ^_^

Yeah, I find running in dungeons with an unconventional setup with friends very fun.

I also love the story and the world so sometimes I'll just sit around and explore an area, looking at everything. I like to talk to all NPCs. I wait to read those speech bubbles of those NPCs you can't talk to, but still 'say' something.

I've also picked up ingame fishing, which is strangely calming to me. Maybe because I can watch the sun set over the ocean......hm.

So you just hit level 50 in patch 2.5.

Ok, you're already at 50 several times over, but it sounds like you haven't progressed all that far in a lot of level 50 content... the guide might still provide a useful roadmap of things you can do.

Also... For my $.02, try to find a good group to play with. That can help a lot.

Or another alternative is wait for expansion to come out as relic quest may be nerfed again some more, and lots of new content.
However i would get caught up until at least 2.5 story wise
Atma books are significantly lower in price now and took me around a week to get up to Novus.
Fate spawn rate does not seem to have changed sadly or perhaps it was just my usual bad luck
There really is tons to do and if your a crafter right there your life can be consumed with all the new things.
