Don't really wanna watch because I wanna know the fight on my own...but I did watch lol. Just wanna say congrats on your clear and also great concise videos![]()
Shouldn't this be in the dungeons section rather than general?
With the exception of tanks being tethered together, you don't need OT to be in front all the time. Boss has a very clear rotation when it comes to cleaves, and a great OT can just pop in for the cleaves and tank swaps only and avoid a lot of autoattack damage.
Otherwise great though.
Yea, thats risky. More damage vs a potential wipe, yea ill take the damage. Especially with lag from time to time. If your healers cant heal this without you taking that risk then they need to be replaced. I would not recommend trying this to anyone unless they are 100% comfortable with the fight. Although i will probably switch to this method after I become more comfortable later onWith the exception of tanks being tethered together, you don't need OT to be in front all the time. It's not that risky. You can easily dodge more than half of the autoattacks in phase 1. Just because you'll have to eat them later during tank-tethers doesn't mean it's a waste of time or an excessive risk to do it in phase 1. Took me less than 40 minutes to recognize the pattern with no outside help (not that any existed at the time we were attempting).
The range of the frontal cone area in Nerve Gas is the range of his cleave; you can hang out on the very edge and pop in for only cleave. Eat more autos if necessary to appease conscience / be safe. But the timing is not very hard to learn.
