MMMMMM.... Soulglazed relics....
Guraaaaaaaaaah!
"One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. Prepare a new sphere scroll of the correct type to receive the power of your chosen relic weapon, then use materia and alexandrite to redo the infusion process."
Is this for people who have made mistakes on their Novus and want to redo stats? Or do we all have to do another sphere scroll?
I think this is if you want to redo it. Like if you make it to Nexus you can redo the materia by getting another sphere scroll and get more Alexandrite."One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. It's worded weird but I'm going to say the materia from your novus is transferred to a new sphere scroll to then be added to the nexus, but this also allows you to change materia around if you choose to do so."One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. From the way I read it, it is an optional feature that becomes available once you complete the quest regardless of whether it is still in its novus or nexus stage. So basically, you can re-do the stat allocations for your relic in the event you ever change your mind or realize you made a mistake. So yeah, pretty much."One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. I don't really understand the notes about the new relic quest. At all.
"A weapon’s soul attunement level will rise by a set amount determined by the activity being performed. This amount, however, may increase each time a certain period of time passes."
From the sounds of it, it would seem that it is something akin to a spirit bonding like system. Not specific to any single activity, but rather multiple activities over a period of time.
Frankly though I'm really curious to see what they will look like now, but from the title of the quest you do to get it suggests to me that it's just another glow effect. =/
I seriously doubt it. With the stats a novus has it would over take the HA weapons. It's almost certainly ilvl 115 in name only.

We do specific things that will empower the new relic weapon (probably instances, raids, etc.). It also sounds like some things empower it more than others. The part that concerns me is...

This sounds like chocobo dyeing. We may not be immediately aware of what tasks are better than others?
So, they're confirmed to be 115. Will we get increased stats? Or will it be like Atma where the stats were exactly the same as Zenith?
