Yes We Cant

I'm having a hard time with this quest, and can't seem to get any help in-game.

I'm trying to do this event FATE in Uldah, and at the end I'm not getting credit for completion.

I'm in the disguise the entire length of the FATE.

I'm using my Cant spell on the citizens.

I am NOT using it on the thaumaturges.

I am present at the end and still in disguise when the FATE is over.

I do not receive credit for completion.

What am I doing wrong?

Edit: I think I may have just figured it out. I've been on one of my crafter classes. I just did it as a battle class and got credit. I should have thought of this, but it would have been nice if it was explained in the game. :\

I had the same thing happen to me 5-6 times in a row. I logged out and back in and started getting credit

Must be on a DoW/DoM class or you get no credit.

I recall that it mentions it somewhere, because I remember it specified you must be DoW or DoM to do it. I just can't remember where it says it. Maybe the guy that changes you or the pumpkin head lady, but it says it somewhere

You must always be on a combat class to get credit from FATEs.

It is explained, it just happened at the end of a lengthy explanation and it's easy to miss.

This. You've never been able to participate in FATEs as a DoH or DoL.
