As I've reached the 10k seals limit for the Maelstrom, ready for spending there, I was wanting to know how I can get my character promoted from the lowest ranks.

Any info on this? I wouldn't want the character stuck on 3rd class, when it comes to endgaming.

You need to talk to one of the npc at your grand company headquarters, I forget their names but he's the one that gives the option of rank promotion. Most ranks just require you to pay seals but a few also require completion of the hunting logs and a few quests to advance.

same npc that does provisioning and supply missions in the city will be n option to apply for promotion normally is a quick quest :3
