Suggestion Split the Summoner and Scholar

Keep the Scholar Branched off the Arcanists and take the Conjuror from Everquest 2 and adpat it to the Summoner in Final Fantasy XIV

The biggest issue people had with both jobs coming from arcanist was how the 30 attribute points were shared by both jobs, which since 2.4 is no longer an issue since the keepers hymn is now only 250 gc seals instead of 10k so you can get 40 with the same amount of seals that used to just get you one. Allowing you to easily stack up and since you didn't explain why this should be done I'm just assuming this is your complaint.

Honestly, if you don't like that Summoner and Scholar are attached to arcanist then just devote to one or the other and level conjurer or thaumaturge to satisfy the neglected Job. Or, you know, put 15 in Intelligence and Mind and do both. Either way, the idea presented here clearly isn't happening if it's not happened by now.

If Arcanists, especially SCH, aren't leveling THM and CNJ anyway, they're a bad player and should feel bad.

All MMORPG's use the class archetypes from Everquest they just adapt them to their game even WoW did it. WoW took all their classes from Everquest and gave them a WoW theme even Final Fantasy XIV does it.

The Summoner and Scholar are filling the Necromancer slot with disease DoT spells but neither of them fit that role since both Jobs have nothing the undead and debilitation that's more the Puppet Master
The EQ2 Conjuror should be adapted to this game's version of the Summoner
The EQ2 Channeler should be adapetd to this game's version of the Scholar

Or like on Conjure they have the change the MIND stat to INTELLECT stat ability to help with solo play on Scholar they should have an Ability that changes INTELLECT to MIND stat to help with healing if you fully level a Summoner first then a Scholar.

SCH can use Cleric's Stance as well, and in general they tend to be one of the most powerful solo classes. Shields, heals, a fairy, and decent DPS
