The first boss? The one that is essentially "Can your healer clear status effects"?As far as difficult bosses go, I think the first boss in Sastasha HM is more of a complicated boss that takes precise tactics or very high DPS output to get pass. Before someone comments with matimize yer geer and joo should be fine, I've cleared this dungeon plenty of times, I'm just stating difficulty on comparisons. The second boss is perfect in that dungeon

I hope you know that the ability "Prey" cannot be dispelled, it is a guaranteed stun against your teams tanker... That ability alone can cause a wipe. Someone rumored that the tether can be passed along to another team member, but I've yet to witness it. Unsure if it is a PC function or w/e. Anyway, the healer cannot dispel three slime quick enough to "guess" which teammate will be selected for the whirlwind to one shot especially with the DoT's the slime provides. There's plenty of mechanic to go around that fight to make it more difficult than either of the other two bosses in Sastasha HM.

Uh it's definitely possible to heal all the dots. I do it all the time and so has every other healer in my FC. Prey can be passed but there is no point. DPS not being stunned will kill the boss faster and Tail Screw can never kill you unless the dot isn't healed so might as well have the tank eat the stun.I hope you know that the ability "Prey" cannot be dispelled, it is a guaranteed stun against your teams tanker... I can second this I've never had any issue Esuna/leeching the DoT's off on time for WHM and SCH.Uh it's definitely possible to heal all the dots. Only issue I ever have is last boss where everyone really really tries as hard as they can to stay out of range ofme as much as possible xD

Not only that, you don't need to "guess" which dps he's going to Tail Screw as he turns to them when he starts the cast.Uh it's definitely possible to heal all the dots. There are times where the boss hits all three with slime at once while continuing to DPS the tank with impale (in his hastened state). You will not remove all the dots, bring all players back to full life and keep tank alive before he targets his victim with tail swipe.... Your best option as healer (while keeping the tank alive is to guess who will be selected for tail swipe and dispell theirs first otherwise you will be reviving a fallen ally.Uh it's definitely possible to heal all the dots. How do you pass prey along? And are you PC or Ps3/4? I'd like to know for the next time I tank this as my strat was to time my stun before Prey took hold of me in moments I see where the healer is in need of a few moments to heal team remove effects etc, and it worked alot.I can confirm you can pass Prey. I regularly take it off my tank, or if tanking, pass it to one of my DPS who can't stun. The idea is to ensure that someone, tank or DPS can stun the next incoming Tail Screw. And it IS possible to remove all the slime debuffs, especially if the above method is used. Not easy, no, but totally doable.
And yes, the Kraken's HP is a little much.

I guess I must be dreaming in literally every run I do of Sastasha since I get rid of Slime on all 3 members without issue every time. There is no reason to bring people back to full hp that aren't the tank, letting the Fairy or Regen handle them will suffice. The tail attack brings them down to a low % but can never kill them unless your healer is slow and can't get rid of everyone's' Slime debuff. The boss getting Haste and hitting the tank harder has nothing to do with being able to deal with it.There are times where the boss hits all three with slime at once while continuing to DPS the tank with impale (in his hastened state). Have somebody else run into you, it'll pass the debuff along. Meaning usually a DPS needs to run directly into you when they see Prey to transfer the condition to themselves. How do you pass prey along? And are you PC or Ps3/4? I'm going to be a little mean (in a funny way) if only to make a valid point: The Prey/target passing thing was something I learned WAY back in Lost City and Brayflox HM, while most were too busy trying to speed run it. I didn't learn it right away, no, but from the first time I fought it, I was studying the entire fight. If I can do it, anyone canHow do you pass prey along? And are you PC or Ps3/4? I am going to ignore the stuff about scholar healing in this boss fight as I am sure it's easier with a pocket cure going off while you spam leeches and whispering Dawn when it's up, I've done it and you are right about that part. However, I am referring to more WHM play in difficulty and boss difficulty in general in Sasatasha HM, especially with the boss in hasten state and with regen tics. I've witnessed the regen tic happen, then slime tic right after tail swipe, it has ALOT to do with it. Since 2.4 I along with several other WHM (hopefully you did too) experienced a noticeable difference in cast time, meaning it's slower in general), dunno if it was intentional or not, but it's there. With keeping the tank at full life AND with applying regen and esuna to most of the team it is some what problematic. Don't misunderstand me. I am NOT by any means saying it is impossible, but I am saying this boss fight is the more difficult to deal with compared to the remaining bosses of this dungeon. That was my point. Although, I know that the OP was talking about the HP of the Kraken, which I totally agree with. I just made a statement that this boss is the more complicated one to deal with, NOT that I don't know how to...I guess I must be dreaming in literally every run I do of Sastasha since I get rid of Slime on all 3 members without issue every time. Thank you. I like simple answers like that.
Unlike this one...
But let me be a little mean in return in saying I bet you're one of the crybabies that scream noob when someone dies to something they don't understand and then cause a team wipe when they say they are new to a specific fight rather than lend a hand and explain certain mechanics before the fight begins, excpecting to pull the weight yourself.I'm going to be a little mean (in a funny way) if only to make a valid point: The Prey/target passing thing was something I learned WAY back in Lost City and Brayflox HM, while most were too busy trying to speed run it. I'm gonna quote you in closing. "If I can help someone understand a survival mechanic, anyone can..."![]()
