Perhaps no one was bothering to cast cure on Svarra's main target and they got tired of being at 20% HP with 60 people around and not one bothering to heal them. The fact that Svarra in particular was mentioned above, as well as the person having the most enmity leaving, says it all.

The last few times I got to the main Svarra fate in progress with her main target having like 25% HP left all it took was one Cure II cast on "target of target" with Svarra selected to top them off, or a couple of Physicks. That's just being practical if nothing else- when the main target dies, Svarra will find a new main target.

When levelling Dragoon and doing that fate one time I was the main one holding enmity against her for well over half the fight, and I saw several Aero's on her and yet no one did a damn thing to help me as my HP dropped lower and lower. After asking for someone, anyone, to help keep my HP topped up so I could keep her pointed away from the crowd and no one doing it, right around 15% HP I walked her over to them, delevel synch'ed, and said "Ok fine, you want to be her main target now instead of me, here you go!" and then I dropped her on them and left. Many tried in vain to scatter while she ran rampant over them and all that death was gratifying to behold.

I was all the way back down to Dragonhead by the time they finished that fate, and I got gold nonetheless... and I deserved every bit of it.
