    Tune down bright lights.

Can SQAURE ENIX tune down on most of their spells? How the do I tank with my screen flashing my eyes so brightly? Also tune down on the flashy axe chop attack, no need for that pew pew sounds with a single axe chop. How simple can it be? I just bought this game for 15 days ago, idk if I really want to see the end game content with this much

That 2.5 seconds recast timer really sucks if you ever wonder why, glyph/talent combos into 1 seconds or faster animation ffs, idk should i wait a few second for a black mage to flash my eyes with spell. It's not necessary to flash at peoples eyes yo.

You can turn off skill effects in the config

You can turn down attack effects for npcs, passer-bys, parties members and yourself. I think it's under character config.

Do you see this guy wincing at a light 100x brighter then BlizzardIII, no. If he can suck it up, so can you!

Its just a matter of getting used to. After 14ish months I hardly notice it anymore.

Try playing with sweetFX... every Blizzard III is like getting hit by a flashbang in Counter Strike.... and don't even try to look directly into a flare.

Definitely one of the oddest complaints threads I've ever seen.... If a person's eyes are sensitive to the point that visual effects at this game's early levels cause discomfort, maybe they should consult a medical professional.

Meteor in your face beats all other spell effects.

No need. My eyes are more light sensitive than the average humans, which is why I wear 25% shaded glasses at all times.
I think the major strain comes when you play in poorly lit rooms. That's when Blizzard III and co really start to hurt esp in dark places like Tam Tara.

That being said: the flashing IS excessive in this game. That's why the devs gave you the option to tone stuff down.

I found the setting, but sometimes limit breaks still blinds me, what's the general idea on making a Video Game so bright? On the other hand, how do I change the size of names and bars on the field? How do I remove the flying combat text spams on the screen?
