I am kind of player who wants to always watch cutscenes before fights and thus, enjoy the game to it's fullest. But people keep skipping them and fight bosses. They claim that cutscenes are ''too long'' even for 2 hour dungeons.
So here's my suggestion. Give dungeons more time to complete. Extend it with at least a hour or two. I think that will work

uhm, ppl skip cutscenes because they want to clear said dungeons in 15-20 min and dont want to waste any time

The time you have to finish a dungeon is ample to watch cutscenes etc. People skip them because they've probably ran this dungeon 20+ times and don't want to watch them again and just want to finish it asap. There is almost a weekly forum argument about this and sadly SE don't seem to do anything about it as it is a player created issue. My advice is to run with friends or an FC.

When you are farming dungeons you want to finish as many as you can in a day for the max rewards so people don't really want to wait around for somebody to sit through a 30 minutes worth of cut scenes most of which are redundant anyway. There is no way to solve the issue without forcing one side to accept the terms of another so better to accept the status quo.

Then people would stop running the dungeon and queues for first timers would be very long. There's no simple solution to this. The majority are speed runners and if you take away the ability to speed run, they'd stop doing it.

im hopin they add a skip cutscene option to duty finder lol h8 having to skip 10 cutscenes everytime i do main roulette ._. being a ps3 player it loads slower then pc/ps4 n gettin locked out of fights is %$^&* lol

Did you enable skip previously watched CSs in your system or character settings; been there for a while?

As for watching CSs. I will always wait for people to watch CSs if they are new to the duty. I want them to enjoy it. When I'm going into a duty first time I either do so with friends or I setup a PF for a first run - it's how I did snowclak recently - we had fun figuring out the mechanics. Joined a CM/Prae PF at one point and got 2 new people for the FC at that with helping them enjoy the story. And CM it's like 5 more minutes. True Prae is 30 min or so extra - I think a few adjustments could be done there. Like instead of showing you a cutscene of Cid talking with you just have his dialog go off while you are doing stuff - same could be said about going deeper in and stuff I mean you are in a rush story wise to get it done so atleast those parts should be processed that way.

No, 90% of this forum has "been there, done that, got the tshirt" and are just running the dungeons from roulette or alt classes for rewards. Ive done dungeons like toto rak 20+ times and ill be damned if Im watching the cutscenes every.single.time. I don't force people to skip though, if you don't want to be forced to skip run with friends, an FC or start your own party and make your own rules about cutscene skipping.
