Well, with the amount of work I have put into the FC I will not be leaving. I would assume others would feel the same.

Buying a private room requires no work.
If other work you've done for the FC is whats holding you down to that FC, then it isn't private rooms holding you down now, is it? A private room would be a quick excuse as to why you'd tell someone you're really not sure if you want to leave your FC or not, that is usually all. But if the value of the private room outshines whatever reason you're wanting to leave that FC to begin with, you're probably not an FC hopper, or the very reason you want to leave it isn't that big.
FC hopping isn't just leaving a single FC for whatever reason to join another. Everyone does that, some people just don't click with some FC's, be it drama, it isn't what they're looking for, or perhaps they got offered a position in a static with another FC.
FC hopping is "bunnying" through them.

come on, 300k is super easy to make even for casual player
Stick with one FC instead of jumping around. Don't buy a room unless you don't plan on leaving that FC.

I've played MMOs for 8 years now. Trust me when I say that guilds don't always survive according to your plans.
Esp transitions into a new addon are always critical moments.

^my point is it doesn't & it doesn't need to...
Also +1 to Ditto & Granyala's posts.
It's a feature-unlock, makes sense to be one-time only.

The 300k is not a price that you pay to unlock a feature. With the 300k, you purchase a room located within the current FC and since you have obtained a permit to use room within the FC, you will gain access to a feature with which you decorate the room in question.
By leaving the FC, you’ve explicitly decided to “demolish” the room while returning your belongings which have not been permanently bound to the FC room. So, when switching FC’s you will be required to purchase a room within that FC to gain access to it as well as the feature with which you can decorate it.
It is the same when you decide that you want to move to a different plot al together, whether or not you’ve purchased the plot of land for personal or company use. If you’ve purchased a small plot for 5 Million and spend 450k (using my own server as an example) on a permit, you will have permission to place a house on the given plot. If you decide to move to a different plot, you will have to purchase both the new plot as well as the permit to place a house on that new plot you’ve purchased.
Purchasing a room in an FC or permit to build a house on a plot of land doesn’t mean that you “physically” own the room/house. You get permission to use it or build a house on it. So, you cannot take the entire room/house with you when you move to a different plot/FC. Only the stuff you put into that room/house will be returned to you when you choose leave the FC/plot.
This rule also applies when you want to switch “Private Rooms” within the same FC. If you want switch from “Private Room #13” to “Private Room #1”, you will have to “Demolish” your current room “Private Room #13” and purchase “Private Room #1” in order gain permission to use it.
In short, think carefully before purchasing a room within an FC or a plot of land. You are paying to gain access to that specific room within the FC or to place a house on that specific plot.

I'd of preferred for personal rooms to have been done through capital cities and not gated behind FC housing.

the inn room is not gate behind FC housing, it is free and you have 1 each city (and yes it is your very first personal room, w/o few function). In addiction you can have your own house with 2 room for small house for the price range of 4kk to 8kk, your pick
