I'm a minor. I'm technically not an adult yet. But I don't go crying for my mum at a peeked out boob or a bikini that exposes 90% flesh. I've seen worse in music MVs and on the beach. If you're still so narrow-minded and locked into the past generation's view on decency and clothing, well, reality check, this is the 21st century with the internet. If you insist on these Old Bailey demonstrations where women must be covered up in fancy gowns or the archaic rituals of forcing men and women to dress up in more clothing than they have skin, I recommend you get desensitized quick.

Besides, what's wrong with showing a bit of flesh? Our human body is like that. Why should we be ashamed to show it off, especially since we still hold some level of decency? And ESPECIALLY since this is a game. Flesh is flesh, its not like a dodo's going to jump out of the bikini or trunks and ambush you. You don't get the point.
FF is unique.. By doing this they went to the road of all the normal MMORPG's.
Now FFXIV is just a normal MMORPG. It's not FF unique anymore.

Just because people don't want to make an issue about it doesn't mean everyone is happy about this. Those bikinis are slutty. If you take that as an insult, well then maybe you ought to think about it. "Everybody's doing it." is hardly an excuse.

As for FF, yes, they have had some sexualized stuff, but they have never gone this far before. I watch a lot of anime; I know exactly what type of stuff Japanese shows are capable of. I have always appreciated that FF kept it more toned down, and it's one reason I love the series so much.

Am I calling SE out on this? A little bit I suppose. The worst thing is, I actually like the basic idea of the event. But no, I won't be participating. In my mind, while sex is by no means a taboo subject, it is in the end a private thing between me and my husband. I don't put myself on display for every man to oogle.

Just for clarity's sake, so no one thinks this is onesided on my part... for all the boys out there in the harnesses and underwear (there have been a few strutting around on my server), all I have for you is a massive eyeroll.
