What happened to people learning how to play a game by themselves lol

To answer your question, I've yet to see a guide. Sorry.

Part of the problem is the method of leveling. DF has been incredibly skewered, menaing that people would farm FATEs instead. Apparently that method while makes sure people gain levels at a faster rate leaves the player still unaware of how to do the job correctly (as shown on This thread).
