Just a quick question for you all... where do these rings come from? Anyone have a clue?

I saw someone with a Rahlgr's one on, but they seemed AFK, and have been for lil' over an hour. So if anyone out there in forum land has any idea, or knows. Mind sharing please?

That ring and all the ones from the others Twelves are from the last quest in 1.0 where ppl had to pray to the Twelves to try to stop Dalamud and according to SE it was only available from that quest.

If I remember correctly, the ring was a reward for completing the final quest in version 1. Its been a while, but I believe you had to /pray at the 12 special markings that appeared towards the end of the game to complete the quest. When you prayed at your Guardian's sign, you received their ring. For example, when I created my character, I choose Nophica the Matron as my Guardian. When I prayed to her symbol in Gridania, I received her ring.

Ah yes, I have Menphina's ring stashed somewhere. It was that pilgrimage quest in 1.0 where you had to /pray in front of monuments of The Twelve across Eorzea. Kinda a fun quest cause you had to get to the locations safely.... Eh, Eorzea was a much more dangerous place back then and not a kindergarten for monsters.

The ones in Black Shrouds was the hell.
Level 80+ enemys you need to pass without getting aggro (because you would die) in a very small pathway.

Se says a lot of things. It'll be available to non-1.0 players soon enough, like everything else that was "1.x only."

You made me remember that quest in Gridania where people were saving their point in the most crucial aetheryte note filled with mobs 90+ and a few steps out and dead lol. It was like passing over the sacrifice dead bodies all around to get there. Like the dude in front you does a mistake and pull hate then everyone sprint while they can until next victim dies and others keep going until a few remain lol. Of course people would find thigh safe spots to raise some dead player close by and that one raise others and so on. It was very fun and painful too xD

I know, that also before dalamud was really hanging low, we hat to pilgrim to all stones of prayer and sprinkle some water on them or do something

What was the first time we did it, was it to become more aquainted to the echo?

I am still sad that now those stones, bar the where a Venture point is, just are plain rock s you dont interact with anymore at all
