    Item Level for Desynth Items

I've noticed that many types of items that can be desynthed, particularly fish and furniture, do not have the item levels displayed in the item description. Since the iLvl determines the type of results you can get (shards, demimateria, etc), it would be helpful if this information was displayed in in the item description area. This is a convenience that I feel would make everyone's desynthing a bit less of a chore.

    Thank you for you consideration.

hm, i don't think it would be proper to give those types of items an Item Level. maybe another rating system. like stars or something.

in any case, for the moment you can just look at what level is need to catch/craft the fish/item. that should give an idea of what tier you can get items from.

These items already have an item level. How else would would the desynth success percentages be calculated? I see no reason why it wouldn't be considered "proper," or how it would affect you personally. Besides, having an additional star rating may cause come confusion, since recipe levels of 50+ already use a star system. However, I could see the level 50+ items using stars, to match up with recipe rankings (assuming the items didn't come from a star rated recipe).

I am also aware of referring to other logs as reference. I just made the suggestion to possible save the player some time. The data is there, I would just like it to be displayed, in the item description, for quick reference. The current alternative of going back and forth, multiple times, gets a bit tedious.

i completely understand. it's just when i think Item Level, the first thing comes to find is equipment and the assessment of a players combat capability. it just wouldn't seem right to display an item level for fish or furniture. maybe if it showed you what desynth level you needed for 100% or something. even if there are items at level 300 that still don't desynth at 100%, then it could just show us the level it would require. which should give the player a pretty good general idea.

in any case, i wasn't trying to knock down your idea. and an item level display would still be perfectly acceptable. i just think something else may be more suited.

I understand your point as well. They could add the information similar to how they display the information for melding and item repair.

For example: "Desyntesizable: Weaver Lv. 25" instead of "Desyntesizable: Yes (weaver)"

From what I've seen, there are no items that show "Desyntesizable: No."

Edit: I just realized that "Item Level" is different than "Desyntesizable" level, since many high end vanity recipes are iLvl 1 and give high grade yields.
