Haha this is exactly what i have been encountering aswell, throws shuriken just to see mob gets suddenly blasted with lightning :3
I have noticed this. I also get the feeling it's smoother outside of dungeons than it is inside of dungeons.
This is the exact thing I am talking about. Sometimes its very smooth, but I can not 100% replicate it.
Definitely, without a shadow of a doubt.
This needs looking at.
At a guess I'd say it's latency, I can see vids of Jp players on Jp server and NA on NA servers and they can execute mudra's very quickly in succession lower than the 0.5 stated recast.
Sometimes I'm able to do this but others not, it's inconsistent.
If it is latency it's f**ked.
i did notice it too, you have time to time where the cd seems longer and some times shorter...
It's latency for sure. Latency fucks with mudras really badly. Ninja is the one class who even a small spike while casting mudras can result in a botched combo or taking much longer to come out.
So many Rabbit Medium errors because I didn't know if the game registered by mudra or not... Sometimes it works smooth and flows perfectly, .5 between each, other times it's 1 second. A bit inconsistent since I do the same thing each time...
Edited main post to clarify exactly what I was talking about by sluggish.
Ya can say in a fight ninjutsu tends to lag off.
but again the whole delay system and stuff kinda of needs to be fix for melee as well when chasing a enemy try casting an attack and it starts the animation breaks and and trying to run and cast it keeps breaking the animation/attack.
I believe its because of the whole so ps3 doesn't get left behind(luckily they are phasing this out sometime but sooner be better)
but ya having played nin since 2.4 launched every day almost all day can say there is a problem with it and it sucks. but its been a nice break from bard who was my main
WTFast helps with this problem as it is a delay/lag problem. Similar to getting hit by AoE's when you ran out of the way, or melee attacks not going through even though you are in range. If you use WTFast use a chained connection with the 1st location being nearest you and the 2nd being in canada east if you are on a NA server.
Ever since I started using WTFast again my mudras have been quick and responsive like they should be.
