Then do that. I still believe that stuff should not be on the cash shop.
And besides, the mog cap was a pre-order bonus. Can you upgrade to the pre-order on the mogstation? Can you?
.
That's like saying pre-order bonuses from games shouldn't be available as DLC later down the line. And yet, they become available later down the line as DLC.
And? I disagree with that too. Companies entice people to pre-order or buy the collector's edition with promises of exclusive items, then turn around and sell those "exclusive" items later. You don't find that shady?
.
I want to see NOTHING on the cash shop, because I don't like its implications for the game, nor trust the company's stance on it.
I will buy NOTHING from the cash shop. Its the blackest must brutal present of all.

While I would be happy t buy a wind up dalamud on cash shop
I would completely understand why people paying premium t get the soundtrack for this "rare" minion would feel cheated
Still is they look different.
I didn't have the chance to get my goob mount in 1.0, and because of special snowflake syndrome I should never be able to ride a goobue?
The ability to have something special is a driving factor for some players. If everything is destined to be available for purchase, then there's a feeling of pointlessness. While I would be happy t buy a wind up dalamud on cash shop

That said, yes, the goobbue is a bad example, since they are actually different.
Why? Out of spite? The principle of the thing? Preorder bonuses are the perfect thing to put in cash shoppes. Those who preordered got to enjoy their timed exclusives while anyone who missed out can still access these cool items. Everyone wins, except the people whose only enjoyment from a thing stems from the idea that other people cant have it. And, if you can't please everyone, its pretty obvious that those are the people who deserve it the least.

Look all of two posts down from the one you quoted and I explain the why. It's not spite, it's simple ethics. Here. I'll even post it for you again. Why? Out of spite? The principle of the thing? We weren't given a timed exclusive. That'd be different. We were given an exclusive. As in, you will never be able to get this item again. That was the agreement. There's nothing spiteful or special snowflake about expecting a company to honor its agreements. And? I disagree with that too. Companies entice people to pre-order or buy the collector's edition with promises of exclusive items, then turn around and sell those "exclusive" items later. You don't find that shady?

It is just evil and nothing should ever be bought from there.
Nothing should be cash shop exclusive >
In Game items should be earned in game.
