Moogle Cap... and other items you want to see in the Cash Shop of doom.

There's nothing special snowflake about it. SE enticed people to pre-order items and purchase collector's edition by offering exclusive items you would not be able to get any other time. This was a real world financial agreement, not some gil-related in game item. The items were purchased with an implied agreement that they would not be duplicated. By duplicating them to sell in the cash shop, SE would be breaking that agreement. That's horrible business ethics. I don't know the legality of it, but I'm sure it's on iffy legal grounds at the least.

Adding these items to the cash shop hurts no one. Except the people who can only enjoy a thing if other people cant have it, like children who scream and cry when they see someone else as Elsa for Halloween.

Just because someone can, doesn't mean they should. Demonstrating that they can go back on their promises causes a lot of flak here because ARR was made specifically to buck that trend. The LACK of cash shop was a major thing that we appreciated early on in both versions of FFXIV. The presence of one opens the door to a lot of corporate temptations...ones we have seen in plenty of other games.

Add the moogle cap and 1.0 exclusive items (like Dalamud Horn), if no one cares about vanity and "it doesn't affect the game" then apply that to everything.

Seriously... I have a Moogle cap.. I don't care if others buy it. It makes me no difference. Just put it all in the cash shop and let people buy what they want. I don't even care if they put gil in the cash shop - bots are rampant, anyway... maybe it would put them out of business!

Let people sell characters and accounts through the shop, too.

Just do it all... it's coming anyway.

See the difference bewteen the Moogle cap and vainty items is that the moogle Cap boost your EXP gain by 10% if your under LV10 and that's giving people a slight advantage over players.

I preordered the PS3 version of the game.
Didn't get the in-store bonus flag (too few were sent out).
Didn't get the Cait Sith Doll/Mog Cap combo due to a dishonest employee stealing the code and selling it.

lol at the people calling special snowflake. Things that were given to people by pre-order, ce, limited edition etc....should not...I REPEAT..SHOULD NOT...be in the cash shop. That is totally going against what SE was saying about exclusive items. You weren't there....well too bad. I want lots of things from 1.0 and wish I stayed, but I didn't....do I wish I had them...yes...am I going to whine about it....no. It was available in the past, I missed my chance, oh well. Suck it up.

As someone who has both the moogle cap and the garlond goggles I"d have no problem with them going on the cash shop. I was able to enjoy them early because of my pre-order. If someone else wants them now it doesn't hurt me to let them enjoy them as well.
