    possible ninja bug?

    I apologize if this has been posted before, but here goes. Is the tool tip for dancing edge wrong? i can get the potency bonus from any direction, not just the flank.

    I think the debuffed is what is positional dependent not the potency.

    It's not. You can get the buff AND potency from any position.

    Its not a bug but a mistranslation in the english version. Dancing edge does not have a positional requirement according to the german, japanese or french translation.

    This is pretty much the first thing to check anytime there's any kind of oddity encountered in this game. It's not at all a rare occurrence. Mug tooltip is was wrong, too (doesn't have to be finishing blow).

    Mug was fixed last hotfix, so i'm sure this is going to be fixed soo.

    While on the topic, Shadowstalker tooltip is also wrong.

    What it really does is buff your sneak attack to 300 potency, 500 front, not increase your hidden movespeed.
