Gosh no... I don't really mind the cash shop but can we please stop treating SE like a charitable organisation? Only charities should do what you suggested. Or non-profit organisations.

Sounds like too much hassle both for SE and their players. Keep it as integrated (that the word I'm looking for?) as possible. I find it horrible, as it is, that there's minion/vanity codes attached to other merch.

Kickstarters are to create projects or products otherwise unviable by the creator due to lack of funding or resources. S-E does not lack the funding or resources to make minions and mounts.

Less on ethics and more on practicality, I would vastly prefer they at least have the accountability of an actual online store with instant delivery than Kickstarter's reward program, to say the least.

Actually I was fairly surprised myself when I searched through my recent postings and saw something like this. I didn't remember making this but I vaguely, incredibly vaguely, recall thinking about Kickstarter.

I apologize for wasting people's time and killing their brain cells, and will do my best to not do this again. Because it is, in fact, the dumbest thing I've ever said.
