Trouble with World Transfer

Okay so I started this game using the free trial.. But after 2 days I decided to transfer my account into full service. Now that I'm on level 24 and start doing guildleves, I reckon moving to world that suits my timezone would be best, so I tried the World Transfer service but this shows up.


Any idea what went wrong?

Did you enter your current world into the box below it? I haven't tried it, but I would assume that you need to select your character before selecting a destination.

I would check the restrictions list carefully.

・Your character has yet to accept the quest Close to Home.
・Your character is not displayed on the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station's service account selection screen.
* You are required to log out from FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn before newly created characters are reflected on the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station. Please note that it may take time for newly created characters to appear after logging out.
・Less than three days have passed since last using the World Transfer Service.
・Less than three days have passed since the character to be transferred has been created.
・Your free trial for the service account to be used has yet to expire, and you have yet to be charged a service fee.

Did you actually make a payment already or did you just set it up to pay automatically when the time comes?

There's no option in the box below, which is why I'm confused.

Yes I made the payment. If I haven't I doubt I can pass the 20-level limit on the free trial service.

But the answer I want to know is it only the eligible character that will appear in the list or all of my characters, whether they're eligible or now?

Never actually tried or notice, but this is what my screen looks like:



1) Choose destination world > Confirm
2) Choose Source world at the bottom > Confirm

= Get list of characters that can be moved.

If you don't get the same option; then there is still some restriction -OR- actual bug with your account. If bug, I'd contact SE.

Really grateful with the information! Regarding the 1st option is when I clicked confirm the red text in my screenshot appears.
Sucks that I can't go to Tonberry, but I tried again with another World and the same error still occurs.
I think for now I will just focus on levelling my character, I will contact SE if this problem of mine still occurs in the future.

You cannot transfer a character created/tranfered within x amount of days. I belive the number is 15.
Honestly if you are only 2 days into the character you would be better off just making a new one then dealing with the transfer hassle.

How long have you had the character? The Character needs to show up on the Mog Station. It usually takes up to 3-4 days before it is registered in the mog station after creation.

Well I checked again and it seems my characters now shows up. I guess it wasn't 3-4 days yet when I tried. xD
Thought I was sure it is already 3 days after I created them. Maybe the count only start after I subscribed to the service.
Oh the reason I'm not making a new character is because I do feel I invested alot of time already (played on average 8-10 hour per day) and since I'm new and still unlocking new stuff there's no way I want to redo that xD
