Wish I could help you but Im not on your server. Ive been helping FC mates and the general public in queue all morning as a healer but It doesnt make much of a difference unless I could make about 300 clones of myself since there are sooo many players trying to get in. I just hope SE learns from this and doesnt release a single job by itself next time. No matter how good their intentions were, its caused a lot of grief for new players.

What do you expect SE to do?
This is a player issue. More players want to play DDs then they do Tanks and Healers. With 2.4 out the older players are leveling Rogue/Ninja, doing the new MSQ and Hildibrand quests, some have chosen to tackle FCoB right from the start.


Fact of the matter is that Dungeons aren't the only source of reliable exp.

The best thing new players can do for themselves is do, in this order,
1.Main Scenario Quests
2.Side Quests**
3.Hunt Log*
4.Challenge Log*
5.Guildhests + Guildhest Roulette
6.Dungeons + Dungeon Roulette
7.Fates
8.Leves

*Numbers 3 and 4 are more or less interchangeable. Also the Challenge Log resets weekly and scales up with you as you level.
** At level 41 players can start doing the Beastmen Daily quests which are repeatable.

Without the armory bonus the amount of exp obtained from Fates and Leves is pretty abysmal. Once you get one class to lvl50 then you get a bonus based on the discrepancy of the levels between the two jobs.

Also new players should ask their FC (if they have one) to keep up Heat of Battle II buff, to eat food even if it is cheap merchant food, and when they do log that they log out in a City or a Camp so that they can build the rested exp bonus.
Lastly, when queuing for DF I strongly recommend that you queue during peak hours for your server, make sure that all language options are checked off and that you have selected 'join in progress'. It may help cut down the wait.

Don't get me wrong though, I can understand your frustration but Dungeons are not the only way to get exp.
If it is your first time going through the main scenario, you had best stick to the MSQ and SQ.
When I took Warrior to 50 at launch I exclusively did the MSQ and SQ for my lvls. There are more then enough quests to level one person from 1-50.
I did the dungeons to progress w/ the MSQ or for completions sake. I didn't farm them and I didn't farm Fates for exp. If I caught one otw to my next quest I did it.

Sounds like you might need a different FC, lol. My friends and I all believe in story progression over other things, and we always drop what we're doing to help others.

Dungeons aren't the only reliable source of exp. I've leveled all of my DPS classes from 1-50 with FATEs and levequests for the most part. The only time I've really done dungeons is when I'm leveling with friends that are leveling tank/healer. The queue was already bad before Rogue was introduced, and I didn't want to deal with it. This isn't something that SE can just wave a wand and magically fix. The fact is, way more people want to bring the pewpew with a DPS character than want to play support as a tank/healer, especially now with a new DPS class being released.

If you want to main DPS, you end up having to deal with sucky queues. You mayaswell get used to it now. :/
