I want the ability to dot my pet, send it to the enemy encampment, and bane everyone

How would you feel if your fellow summoner gave you dots and diseases and then sends you off to the enemy to be used as bait for bane?

Oh! Our pets have feelings? I didn't know. Garuda and Ifrit have not said anything. But really, SMNs have been asking for more interaction with their pets, and my idea, I believe, is a unique way to expand on those sentiments. This could have great utility in PVP - PVE not so much. But you know what I just thought? Why limit it to dots? Our pets could/should be a storage container for aetheric energy. Store a flare, a cure III, anything, send it to the destination, and bane it! A tactical summoner, yes!

As an arcanist, will the carbuncle benefit from say, foresight or featherfoot cross class skills?

As someone who found it hilarious to plant C4 in a friend's buggy and then have them rushing into the enemy while I push the button, I find this idea wonderfully hilarious and would enjoy seeing it in the game.

Unfortunately no. Pets do not make use of their owners buffs. This is in addition to defense buffs (protect, foresight) having no effect in PvP.
