Upgrade my Omnilex to Novus and LOST STATS!!!!

Base Stats +44 vitality +42 mind +9 accuracy +40 spell speed

My scroll had +40 critical hit rate / +30 determination / and +5 spell speed

Finished Weapon is now +44 vitality +42 mind +9 accuracy +40 critical hit rate +30 determination AND ONLY +5 spell speed <<< instead of any gain I lost 40 spell speed when I thought I would gain +5 points.

WHY, does the game allow you to so utterly screw up your final weapon by even allowing you to add a stat that will destroy your weapon!!!!!

Please allow me to fix this i had just barely added the last 5 spell speed since i didnt want to spend more gil now that i know, I would rather see if I would be allowed to recover my scroll prior to adding those last 5 points which were the spell speed stats. any way to roll this back or is there a fix for this!!!

Novus rearranges the secondary stats. You only invested 5 points into spell speed, and as a result you only got +5 spell speed. You gave up +8 accuracy and +35 spell speed in order to gain +10 determination and +40 critical rate. So in all you netted 7 stat points.

In other words, if you hadn't invested those 5 points into spell speed then your Omnilex Novus wouldn't grant any bonus to spell speed at all.

I edited the base 40 spell speed that was on the book already

Learned this the hard way myself. The maximum posible spell speed is 44 if you added any less than 41 you got screwed.
