You forgot what I consider to be a horrid crime at low level. Medica spamming. Players who spam medica for the silliest of reasons and pull because the low level tank has trouble keeping up with the massive enmity generation.

What about the ones who haven't played around with Esuna enough to know when they can remove status effects? For example, Syrcus Tower on the second boss when his shields go up and reflect damage back onto the players; Bio, Miasma, Bio 2, Windbite, Venomous Arrow, etc can be leeched or esunaed off.
I'm adding myself to this thread. For some reason I suddenly went full retard and have been screwing up all day. In one dungeon I did the first two pulls in cleric stance because I forgot to turn it off. Then I hit the wrong trigger and tried to Stone II the tank instead of Cure II during a huge pull. I apologize for the wipe and rebuff. Then we get started again and I realize I forgot to switch back from the crossbar protect is on to my healing bar. The last thing I thought as I died was how I wished I could have lived just a few more seconds so I could commit seppuku myself with the dead ninja's tanto. I fail at life and I apologize to anyone who had to party with me tonight. I don't know what's wrong with me.
Fluid Aura remains worse than useless in 99% of situations that don't involve using it as an off-GCD DPS spell against a knockback-immune target.
While you can use it to reposition enemies so that an odd ranged mob is placed with the tank's pack (useful, but rarely needed if the tank is decent), the majority of players who try to use FA tactically seem to think that pushing a mob out of melee and AoE range is somehow a good thing.
Healer since day one. I agree with the sentiment, but still think a few points need defending.
Fluid Aura is my go-to if a mob is outside of Flash / CoS / Overpower range. Bards not Quelling and Black Mages with some lucky procs are notorious for prompting this. Nine times out of ten where the mob gets in a spot to be Aura'd to the tank well. If anyone trying this misses, sorry. Positioning accidents happen. Screw the guys who use it all the time, or to knock foes further away.
Raises cost a LOT of TP. I've learned NOT to risk it if I know that giving up about 1/6 of my MP pool will lead to being unable to keep allies alive from bursty damage. Screw the guys who never try or learn their limits.
White Mages aren't glass cannons. I've tanked Titan in both story AND hard mode (up to the last phase), almost all of Dzemael Darkhold, and numerous small pulls in dungeons when tanks fail. If it's a measly 1 or 2 monster pull, I'm confident I can keep myself alive while self healing and DPS'ing. In those cases, I'll pull it for fun. Screw the guys pulling suicidally.
Most creative use of FA I've seen was in DD. We were of course standing in the crystal light and the healer went to FA the ghost that was hanging out just outside of the light.
I was doing Expert DR with 2 other FC members. I normally heal, but figured I'd dps as bard for a change. We get Snowcloak, YAY!! Or so we thought.
The WHM we got used Cure III as her main form of healing and when needing AoE heals we got Medica II, not one Medica II, but two to three of them. We all know the combination of Cure III and Medica II is draining on mp. Ballad barely helps with this. And apparently this WTFWHM never got Shroud of Saints. First boss we beat, barely. Second boss, WTFWHM wouldn't get out of the freeze AoE. Needless to say she dies 2 minutes, (if even that long) into the fight. So BLM FC member starts to heal the tank. In this fight it does fine because the boss doesn't hit that hard. While we are fighting this WTFWHM tells the BLM to raise her. Then tells the BLM if he isn't going to raise her, he needs to heal the tank. Which he has been doing for the past 5 minutes. Then demands the BLM limit break. Which is pointless on this boss, caster limit break does like 2% damage.
So we finally down the Yeti, and the WTFWHM just laid there. Finally, our BLM said, "I don't have raise you'll have to go back to the beginning." We struggle through the rest of the dungeon.
Then we get to Fenrir.
Before the fight starts we tell the WTFWHM to follow me which we mark me with the O (or as my FC calls it, A blitzball) and I stand still, which I normally do as Bard because I'm lame like that, so the WTFWHM can follow me easier. So the second set of icicles fall, WHM just stands there and gets destroy by Fenrir. We wipe.
Round #2
I let the WTFWHM know the mechanics of the fight. We go in, same thing happens. This time, however, my FC mates and I do not give up. BLM heals, PLD stoneskins himself, I use ballad when PLDs MP is low then turn it off to get a little more on my dps. When we get really low on HP I pop the Limit Break. Which was exciting since I never get to use Limit Break as a bard. So we go on doing the fight pretty much like that. The whole time the WTFWHM is talking pure crazy in party chat. Like how Fenrir and his wife and their kids need to die. That this fight is broken and Fenrir cheats. Stuff like that. I won't post the racist stuff because it was insane. WTF right? To bad we can't kick people when in the middle of the fight.
Needless to say the fight took a while, I had to pop the Limit Break again towards the end because we got close to wiping, but the 3 of us beat Fenrir with no real healer. Granted it was pretty fun for us, 3 manning it with no real healer. BLM heals ftw!!! BTW the BLM said he wanted to kick her when she asked him to raise her and then proceeded to tell him how to do him job the rest of the fight. I said we should have told her, "Dead people don't talk. Just lay there and let us do our jobs." Like I said, we ended up enjoying the Fenrir fight minus a healer. Thank God Fenrir only has like 2 attacks and his cleave attack (if it can be called that) is easily dodged. After that, I don't want bard to not have the healing limit break!! It was very useful! However, I know that situations like that come up very rarely, so I actually won't mind having a more usable one.
Don't get me wrong, I do not mind helping people who are new to a dungeon or not good at a fight. We have done many extreme and coil learning parties for FC and other people. But my problem here was the lack of respect to at least take mine or my other FC members advice. Even when we informed her about Cure III being useless, unless people are clumped together.
The lesson I learned from this story is, I will always go heals for Expert: DR.

What does being a white mage have to do with this story?
Lol scholars can be a lot worse in this a few times iv had scholars who just had their fairy out and set follow on the tank.
