Kinda crappy But,
Yep I paid 100k for the Best Man Clothes when I could have bought it from the NPC for half.

The NPC is Rianne, I'm not in game so don't know exact position but it's the only shop in front of the aetheryte plaza in Ul'dah ( ' x '
I don't like scammers lol there are enough moral ways to make money, why make it by upsetting someone ( ' x '
Well think about it: you made someone's day. Doesn't that feel good ?
I ALWAYS look up items/equip on FFXIV DB to see if said item is sold by NPC. I laugh when I sell something on the MB for 500 gil+ when you can buy it from an NPC for less than 10 gil. Free gil!
36k for full set from the npc. It said in the patch notes that NPC is selling new items, and no there is no weddings yet.
That donkey picture made me laugh. When you see someone overcharge for something on MB by 100k gil, the best thing you can do to keep them from selling it and taking advantage of someone is to place one for sale yourself, but listing it for 99k gil.
Nothing new here.
There are tons of items you can buy from NPCs and sell for good profit on the MB. Just pay attention to trends and items that are more sought after.
Sometimes its easier to buy from the MB then to trek to the vendor....
glamor dispellers ^^
So then you take advantage of someone but for 1k less? That is the best thing you can do? Really? If you feel the need to be the hero in that situation, the best thing you can do is put one up for sale at the same price the NPC sells it for plus the 5% cost to sell it. That way you aren't making a profit by taking advantage of someone and neither are they.
Plus then if the person that originally put it on MB for 100k more drops their price below yours they end up losing gil for their effort.
