Actually, it took me 17 pages to come up with an idea that, albeit I came here to the forums asking for help and ideas, nobody gave me. Instead, like you, they thought it was cooler to deslegitimize the problem.

No it actually took you so long to realize that you have to do something ingame instead of complaining. People have continuously suggested on these forums to try and gather like-minded people instead of placing blames all over the place. That suggestion though gets ignored quite often.

And to be completely honest, that is common sense. Is a MMO, your progression depends entirely on your ability to be social. You sorta depend on others. Of course if you continuously play with strangers you'll come along rude players a lot of times but that is not unique to this game or even to games really. Just like in real life we eventually create our close circle of friends. You know, the ones we filter from all the people we meet in our life. We tend to leave the a**holes outside the circle. If you however hang out with stranger after stranger is going to be a tough life.

Did you read all the replies to your thread? There were many suggestions to be proactive and seek out like minded players... Like even on the first two pages...

I even posted a redundant reply encouraging you to put some effort into making learning parties etc... But I'm sure you'll ignore this post too lol.

Taking this one step further, I found this comment to be very apt, considering I've had the very same stress organizing my own static. It's difficult, but you feel quite rewarded once you're hitting those milestones you and your group have set out to hit. Perseverance is key, as well as the ability to find like minded individuals. There will be a lot of pruning involved, but it's worth it.

I've seen that a lot of people have suggested getting a band of fellow travelers with similar schedules. From what I've seen, that is not a completely easy task. But if you have one or two people you can depend on to meet you for a run or two, latch on to em. And don't be afraid of the PF.
From my experience, it's better to start your own party recruitment if nothing current meets your criteria. But don't just put the trial info and hit recruit. Be specific about what you want. Is this a learning party? Is it a clear party? Has everyone completed it and your just killing for an FC mate?
If you're going for a clear, make sure it's evident that it is NOT a farm party and jerks aren't permitted/will be kicked. I've explicitly said in PF that I won't tolerate whining because of a wipe. There are more people out there than you think that are casuals and want to clear content without being criticized for their lack of experience.

Experienced people only want a quick clear, and WILL rage quit after 1 or 2 wipes, thus disbanding the group. If that's what SE is looking for, they are shooting themselves in the foot.

From my experience, the ones that rage quit the most are the ones which wanted to be carried through it due to their unwillingness to take time to learn the fight. Also they turn into the most vocal, abusingly so before leaving. I'll help with friendly tips in roulette when I run them each day, but way too are not receptive in any way to any type of advice, no matter how it is given. It's a good feeling when you give some one who is struggling advice, they listen and you see a very noticeable improvement, It's frustrating as *censored* when they totally ignore you or /laugh, and more, and as I said, it's more often the latter. Why make an effort to actually help people if they don't want to be helped?

How do you think players who started at launch got to level they are at? By practice, by learning exactly what each ability does. The first person players shoul dbe looking to help them, is themselves. There are numerous guides and info out there easiy to locate that explains the basics and more advanced techniques that can be used to improve. Use them! They are written by players that have took the time to aid others.

Instead of some blaming the players that understand jobs/mechanics, Look at those who spit on them first.

I dont see what you were looking for. Not sure how big your server is but the only other option is to switch servers if there are not enough people in your current server to do content.
Otherwise.. everyone started in the PF

My thoughts on this have always been the weekly lock out is an issue to casual players. Most players who know learn the content and have it on farm, will beat it in the first couple days even if its out of static. Leaving learning players struggling with others players who continue to bash their heads against the content never being able to get any help from friends who know the content.

I know the devs have talked about unlocking the new raids, so that players can help their friends progress at the cost of not being able to receive a reward for the duty. What I"m thinking is take this a step further. Make New Coil like raids content run like the 24man raid contents. Allow us to spam duty finder even from the day 1 to get our selves comfortable with the duty. Allow us to enter as many times as we want the week and only allow one item per weak to be obtained.

I still haven't beaten Garuda EX and that's just because I got crappy pugs and people wanting me to pay them rather than join my PF.
