To the OP I sympathize with you totally as I'm in sorta the same situation where do do life its impossible for me to fit into a raid static or commit to raids. Due to it I simply have to not raid. Its just something you have to be okay with because it is what it is and breaking into raids is something that does take time and dedication to do as it should be. Even with learning parties its still time and dedication invested to learn fights though be it a lot harder and longer due to the randomness in players vs a dedicated static where these people play together nightly and know each others strengths and weaknesses by heart. Very VERY rarely do players beat a raid on their first second or even third go. The difference being statics will stick it out and learn while PUG learning parties often fall apart.

I won't suggest what others have posted and start the same old song and dances. I'll just say it comes down to two things. Can time be made and set aside? If the answer is yes then their are options. If the answer is no then the cold truth of it is accepting its not something for the player. The game has a plethora of burst content to do in the meanwhile.
