    o.o

and thats why I decided to do never do any coils. since I heared about it. (A year ago)
You`ll just getting frustrated and youre wasting time.
Im an easy going good gamer, but I -dont- want to turn into a hardcore gamer/Nerd, what coils and those super hard primals runs need. In my opinion.

Do it like me: just Ignore!
There`s plenty of other stuff to do, that is worth the time and effort. o_o

Right, cause being able to run coil = being hardcore / nerd.

    Way to go :P

Just saying... FFXIV raiders prolly play this game the least of anyone. There isn't really much to do. Basically log on 3 nights a week for about 3 hours.

That's just about how it will be. Endgame requires a bit of dedication to it. Learning the mechanics, downing the fight after many attempts. If you're slow at learning, or incapable of dedicating the time to learn the ins and outs of the fight... You're pretty much out of luck. The skilled(and those with a lot of time) are rewarded, while those who lack those get left behind.

Nice way of basically implying that only those who have few responsibilities outside the game are the ones who are 'dedicated' and 'skilled.' I'm not sure if you meant it or just completely missed how you came off, but it is opprobrious.

Here's the hilarity of this comment: The "casuals" are likely 9/10ths of the total player base. Yet they're treated like less than the raiders.

There should be a second raid (difficult 8 player content) that drops tomes and 1% chance of gear from chest at end + Poetics and Soldier (i120 gear).
Sorry, if I wanted a Lineage II drop rate experience, I'd go play Lineage II.

Second coil is not endgame, final coil is endgame for the time being while second coil is old content just like trial hard version vs extreme version. Second coil should of been added to to DF in 2.4 without a full pre-made group requirement when final coil came out but SE failed to make it so. They will probably do it in a later patch or expansion but they should of already done it the moment final coil came out.

It's not even a matter of skills, I consider myself a decently skilled healer. But a point about the non-survivability of pugs and the virtual-non existance of them except for farm parties.

I mean, if someone joins a LEARNING party, is because said person is interested in LEARNING the fight and it's very clear that this will not be a quick and easy experience. Then why leave after the 3rd wipe calling everyone bad names and branding ppl as useless players?

I know how you feel Alexion. I still need to do T5, but nobody wants to do it. Twintania is still a kick in the balls for some folks, and those whom have past it really do not want to do it again. (They just want a different kick to the groin.)

I came close, though. If the other person had showed up, I would have been on the second static for Second Coil between the FC I'm in and another FC.

Start your own casual static and learning parties if there are none. Your on behemoth, a pretty high population server, there is a very high likely hood that there are many more like you. They are probably just sitting and waiting for someone to start such parties and statics but because no one starts one, one never forms, that's reality.

Shori and the poster above me is a prime example that there are others like you. Go out there, find them and smash some content.

I can't count how many times I've read 'I'm a competent skilled player who can only raid 1-2 days a week so I can't get a group' on these forums. Apparently there's millions of you guys out there actively looking for groups and yet no one can put one together. It doesn't add up.

My statics frequently fill holes from within our fc, with friends of people outside the fc. We have friends in other fc so we reach out to other link shells and fc frequently when building statics. My groups tend to run only 2 days a week. All the groups I've been a part of have been very flexible in accommodating people's schedules (and some of them have really wonky schedules). Nearly every pug I've joined has some core group of 2-5 people that started it that ask me to join on a more permanent basis after a run. We dig up new members from all corners of the world not just some elitest duechebag secret society.

Everything in my experience has shown that if you are in fact competent, finding a group is never some epic quest but a simple task even with 2 days or wierd schedules. If there are sooo many of you guys as this forum suggests it should be even easier to hook up.

It doesn't add up, and frankly I don't buy it anymore. You guys are either the most antisocial people on the planet and live in a friendless hole in the eorzea ground, or you really aren't as good as you think you are. According to these forums there's a bazillion skilled players that only want to run 1-2 days a week and it's the big mean elitest consortium that runs 20 hrs a week somehow put you on a blacklist so you'll never work in this town again? Please. If there are so many people in this boat then team up already. Talk to people. Network for all of 5 min. It's really not as hard to do as people seem to imagine it is.

Now there are rare cases when people schedules are so erratic and wierd that it really isn't practical to raid and my heart goes out to those guys, but they are an extreme minority. Most people DO have the time to if they choose.
