Last two posters, I too my hat to you sirs.
This better not be the last time we fight Bahamut in 2.x.
We need a 24-Man Grand Finale fight against his True Form in a non-circular arena (Carteneau 2.0 anyone?!).
OMG on a version of the Frontlines Map!!!
Defeating objectives around the map while Bahamut rains down fire able to be seen from anywhere on the map wreaking havoc.
The 3 Alliances converging on the center Spire... EPIC.
That would be epic. The idea is to get to the safe spot under Bahamut. All three alliances are getting bombarded by Bahamut as they make their way close to him. Toward the end the 3 alliances merge on each other and the victor gets under Bahamut while he cast Teraflare ending the match.
I wonder what makes this Bahamut "prime"?
Maybe it's a hint that an easier non-prime version will be released later?
Having caught Coil 3, cutscene 3 on youtube in all it's pre-rendered glory now, I can't believe SE invested so much time and money in a cutscene that the majority of players will never get to in game. I imagine it will get taken down before too long.
I would't be surprised if "one" of the 3.0 end-game raid pre-requisites (for story purposes) is to complete binding coil of bahamut. At that point - it will be easy for everyone to wipe the floor with Bahamut because everyone will likely be level 60 and decked in like item level 140-150 gear. Of course alternatively they could always level cap this making it forever a challenge (they would need to implement incentive for people to go back after 3.0 is released which would not be easy).

Gotcha. Well assuming all current level 50 content will be level capped at level 50 - I guess that would mean that we basically currently have the best possible equipment available (for the most part) that we will ever have to tackle coil (assuming no echo). As anything above item level 130 / 135 will likely require level 51-60.
Why it and future Highest LVL Raid content should not involve a story so important to the game.
The true events of the Calamity aka end of an Era in the history of Eorzea. This is a major plot for new players starting in ARR and 1.0 players more so.
