Not only the "scaled down" version is disappointing, it's yet another... circular boss arena. I simply don't understand SE's obsession with circular boss arenas. All of them look the same. Why?! Do they not have any ideas (doesn't have to be original) for other arena types? Every other MMO does something different for their raid bosses. Rift (before F2P) had some of my favorite fights ever. FFXIV has so much potential, but with SE treating raiders like second class citizens, I don't think we can expect much here. That looks like a midget Bahamut, even twintania's model was larger than this.

I know the size can be explained by lore, but it doesn't make it any less underwhelming.

So that'll be a Guide video released within the next week, all other HC Statics clearing FCoB within the next month and then complaints that there's nothing else to do whilst simultaneously crying about SCoB being made easier for scrubs and inevitably FCoB.

I can say I'm not entirely surprised, but I didn't think they would implement a "scaled down" version, that completely kills any possibility of a full alliance battle against the real thing
