Lol, Bayohne, this is just like Nintendo screwing over the US with the Collector's Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (for the 3DS). I don't know why marketing and PR is better in the European territories ;-(Hi lolnin,
Sorry for the delay in responding to you! The FINAL FANTASY XIV Game of the Year edition is only planned to be released in European territories and there are currently no plans to release it in North America. Also, for your reference, this edition of the game is not a Collector's Edition and will not include the CE-related items.

If i were to hazard a guess it's a combination of a recession fo japanses pop culture (partuclay anime) in America and Europe getting the short of of the stick for years when it coems to games (and anime)
because their restrictions aren't that great. ESRB is crap and deters a lot of gaming industries from doing business over here.
and then we have like other people mentions. certain things are just more popular over there.
plus most NA inhabitants are quite lazy. even the ones that say, "do work, son".

So....it IS woe.....Hi lolnin,

That is once again a shame. If you are going to have a game thats available in various countries, all its merchandise should ALSO be available in those countries. This should include GOTY editions, as well as novelty items like books, plushies, and other knicknacks. Please tell your marketing and PR teams this. They aren't doing a very good job accomodating all of the XIV'ers right now.Hi lolnin,

Going off the total lack of information a week out, and it not being listed on Amazon UK, I have a feeling that something happened between IGN's new post (who are the only people to talk about it other than the XIV facebook page) and now that have caused it to be canceled/delayed.

I'm just glad it includes ALL UPDATES like that photo says.
Would kinda suck to have to play 2.0 while everyone was playing 2.4.
There were other articles about it on Destructoid and Joystiq around the same time the IGN was published, but other than that youre right there has been a MAJOR lack of info for this.Going off the total lack of information a week out, and it not being listed on Amazon UK, I have a feeling that something happened between IGN's new post (who are the only people to talk about it other than the XIV facebook page) and now that have caused it to be canceled/delayed.
That is not the physical CE, just digital. This is the one I was talking about, the only other boxed copy in existence that is no longer available.Additionally, you can currently get the CE off of Steam for $23.

Sorry, you were just asking about the mount/barding codes, which you get from the digital as well.
Amazon has PS4/PS3 physical collectors editions:

Those are for console though, which I do not have. I wouldn't be able to use the PC code either as I obviously already have an account, but it's also nice for reinstalling since it would be off a disc. There are no PC copies available :P They honestly need to take a page from Blizzard and just make standard edition box copies for those of us that like to have tangible things.Sorry, you were just asking about the mount/barding codes, which you get from the digital as well.
