Unable to equip the Lancer ability "Pierce" via macros and/or /eaction command

Not sure if this goes here, but, as the title says, I have not been able to equip the Lancer ability "Pierce" using the /eaction command. I currently have my macro set as the following:

/eaction 1 "Pierce"
/eaction 2 ""
/eaction 3 blahblahblahblah...



I've checked multiple times and have used the auto-translate version of the ability, but it doesn't seem to equip; I have to manually equip the ability in order to set it to my action bar. Unless I've been doing the command wrong (which I shouldn't have since every other command in the macro works), this seems to be a bug.
