RIGHT! let's kick off my first forum post with something constructive, a nice big fat suggestion thread!

Today's topic is linkshells. Now currently, you can have 8 linkshells at the same time, and they can all be spitting text out at you in one go. But you however can't respond to them all without:

1. opening menu
2. opening linkshell menu
3. selecting linkshell you want from list
4. setting active
5. closing menu

This is so cumbersome, when a few extra text commands would really shine. instead of being forced to go in and select the active linkshell EVERY time, we could simply be given the ability to speak into the linkshell based on it's number.

So, example, your active linkshell is 2, but someone in linkshell number 5 says something to you, and it's urgent, you have to respond. currently it would take time.

My suggestion is simply typing /5 for linkshell 5, and sending the message there directly, without switching active.

This could be expanded to setting active linkshell via text command such as /active [number]. in this case, switching to linkshell 5 and making it active would be as simple as /active 5.

i believe this to be easily workable, as the linkshells already recognise themselves as numbers anyway.

There's my suggestion, what are your thoughts?
