And OP, in Japanese data server, you can clear anything that can be DF-ed through DF.
It includes Ramuh and T5.

It's worth noting this is a largely regional difference. My understanding of Japanese players is that they treat PF and DF inversely to NA - Party Finder is where you go to make learning groups, whileas when you jump into Duty Finder for high level content it's expected you know what you're doing.

That said, this is talking about SCoB - which despite being in the Duty Finder, you can still only enter with a full party, at least right now.

Though 'that said' once again, do you really want to be matched with random people when you queue for any part of Second Coil? Are you really sure you wanna do that?

OP- I'm on Tonberry too. I cleared Ramuh EX in DF a few times now. Quite easily too- every time there was at LEAST half the team JP as well.

I'm having no problem at all finding random groups for second coil farming.

They are doing the exact same thing they did with first coil. They put it in DF, accessible with only a full party for ~2 weeks.
Then it gets opened up to queue solo/light party/wtf ever you want- plus they add echo and "duty finder friendly nerfs" (I imagine they will make earth shock cleansable as they did the paralysis from ADS- reason they do this is there is a slight chance you can get a team with no silences. Dat DF randomness.)

TL;DR- Don't blame the systems for your lack of ability to clear content/make the effort to get a group together.

I don't know if it's that much different on your (OP's) server, but on my sever once i enter pf since 2.4 there are TONS of 2nd coil farm parties.

Also in regards to t5 still locking out of 2nd coil: i really like this, the reason being that i don't really mind someone new in t6 if i know he (probably, unless he bought a carry) is not that terrible because he managed to beat twin, and so far this holds true. t6 is not 'that' hard and even a new player can learn and beat the fight pretty quickly if he has at leasst average skill and understanding of his job, especially with los/burn/superslug easing it up even more. A player that has not beaten t5 though has a pretty big chance of just being not good enough for scob. This is because there's no other 'test' than t5 aka everything pre t5 is just faceroll content, while t5 is still a mechanically challenging fight that prepares a player pretty well for the upcoming stuff.

To OP: SE does this every major patch. Relax. few weeks it'll be opened up. Why they do this I do not know, but they have been following this pattern since 2.2 when BCoB and Levi(?) opened up.
