I hope SE changes how they are going with these. But the sheer amount of work to finish one is not even close to worth the reward.

Yes SE wants the best item from the hardest skill content. But the weapons take monstrous time sinks for a subpar piece of gear. The rewards vs time ratio is not balanced.

WHAT? Casual scrubs who doesn't do coil can get IL110 weapon, the same IL as the unweathered UAT weapon from coil? What is this, SE?

WTF SE? Casual scrubs who doesn't raid can get the best weapon in the game? We raiders banged our heads in coil for weeks and trying to farm it for weeks to see our weapon drop, and some still doesn't seen it dropped yet, and scrubs get best weapon in game? NO! I don't care if it is only 4 weeks, just no! Best weapon in game are for raiders!

Nexus is shit. Look at all these new shiny coil weapons. Nevermind the fact that I don't even have 1,300 ToP yet lest probably 10 groups or less have cleared Turn 11 (which drops the Encrypted Tomestone) and only Collision have cleared Turn 12. People in Collision must be stupid suckers (quote, 5%) who fell for it and wasted their time and even more stupid to continue using it to clear FCoB and even wanting to look at the piece of junk.

As a smn main for coil, both poetics and final coil weapon are crap. The next update from nexus will trump them. Besides, it's actually nice to have something to constantly work on and keeps evolving

Nothing unexpected there at all indeed. Considering the double (or even triple?) gating of Ironworks weapon... weeks to get the tomestones and then having to have SCoB cleared and then running FCoB for a 1/8 chance of an encrypted tomestone... it will be more than a month before we see these spread and people running around with them. Indeed, is it all so surprising at all? Nexus - previous patch, Ironworks - current patch. At least it could have been expected.

On the other hand though, the grind all the way to Nexus is not really in proportion to the reward at all, indeed. Best example of that is still the atma part of it.

I agree, not all weapons are created equal, some are genuinely superior. Relic will always be superior, especially Novus and beyond, in the long run. Some people just can't seem to see beyond the iLevel.

Okay When a patch is introduced you not only have new tomb gear, but the FCoB gear. This is an ever shifting balance of power that follows the following path:

Relic > Tombstone gear > Enhanced Tombstone > Coil Gear > Relic.
