thyrus nexus if infused correctly is better than the Ironworks Magitek Cane. Id take the +10 pie and +32 det over the +1 wep dmg and +3 mind with tons of crit any day. pie comes a long way in FCoB. plus the fact i can use my 3 weeks of poetics to gain my bis items instead. also, healers are last on getting left side carbons and not to mention VERY last with getting our tome....

It surely isn't to beat the current content as I'm doing it just fine with my ILVL 110 Novus Curtana.

Seriously. What does it matter if raid has a ILVL 130 weapon. You can do everything in the game non Coil without it. Hell, you can do SCoB if you so choose to unlock FCoB to get the weapon.

Man, people are seriously self-entitled lately...

And before anyone decides to say anything, look at my achievements and you will clearly see I haven't even beaten First Coil. My care factor of later raids getting a better ILVL weapon that has stronger stats and damage is zero.

Yes but for all the people who doesn't have access to FCoB and can't get these items because they can't get the drop. Relic has been turned into a, I can get it done in my own time and it will be a damn good weapon but the BEST in slot.

I really enjoy getting the relic, It gives me something to do vs spam Turns

I enjoyed progressing my relic too.
Except finding Atma.
And FATE camping.
And queueing for book dungeons. (DPS queues suck)
And gathering resources for Alexandrite.
And obtaining expensive materia.
And I'm a tad late to the light farm party, so the current light bonus listings are not updated as well as they could be anymore.

Well then maybe this weapon isn't for you because clearly you don't like any part of it. You should maybe spend your time clearing FcoB.

I'm pretty unhappy with the content design going on here, every few months a new tier of stuff, rinse and repeat. It's just, oh I dunno, boring. Farm and cap, buy something, farm and cap, buy something. Raid content should always drop better rewards than you can get by just farming the same dungeons over and over, but maybe that's just me.

But as much work and camping and MONEY that has gone into Novus upgrades it should at least be on par with the best weapon drops at any given time. They should put in more upgrades past Nexus, let it be something we can have for a looooong time and still be useful.
