Not a major spoiler mind you but I hate seeing ANYTHING before I do it which is why all the people posting screenshots of their t9 win RRREEEALLY annoys me lol.. ANYWAY:

throughout the ROG questline Jacke constantly refers to your moveset as Dances.. did that trigger anyone else other than me to think that maybe they could branch this class into Dancer aswell as NIN.. i mean ROG and NIN don't make sense to me where-as ROG and DNC do (again in my opinion) and all the movesets are very dancy

DRK is going to be no base class so I would hope and assume we are done with base classes cos they are useless but while we have jobs that have base classes do you think this would make sense?

I think your reading to much into it. I would also like them to ditch the base classes in favour of just giving us jobs at lvl1 or w/e, how they go about doing such a thing is an entirely different problem though. Perhaps MNK just canibilizes PUG etc.

I was thinking the same thing, that ROG could split into DNC, while I was doing my ROG quests too (I didn't get far but there were numerous references to dancing in just the first couple of quests alone). I'm not personally a fan of NIN but DNC might be fun ^_^

Judging from dark knight i'd say that the class/job system is going out the door.

There are some subtle hints that either the system is going out the window, or they're ditching it for future jobs but not the current ones (which, to me, would make more sense since scrapping everything as it stands right now would be a lot of work, and the Class system is very newbie friendly what with allowing DoWs access to things like Cure and protect)
The way that ninja has access to more abilities overall than other classes on top of being the first Job that gets different animations with the soul crystal equipped tells me they're doing proof-of-concept on SOMETHING for the future...
