Thread: Keepers of the Moonspeak

There I was one day, about a month ago, jamming out to some vocaloid music while playing XIV, when I heard something so fitting, I decided I must make a video about it to share with my friends. So for the past few weeks I have been increasing my knowledge of video editing and such. At first I had very little idea what I was doing!
Here was the result of my personal quest.

Ah, It's a Wonderful Cat's Life

That was supposed to be the end of it. Everyone had fun making it.
Then shortly later I was making a small recording to use as a bug report regarding minions. I accidentally didn't include any audio with it and thought to myself, "This needs something to go with it." Then it grew out of hand until it resulted in this questionable result.

And then my most recent project. I was originally going to make a completely different video for a different song, but I just couldn't get some of the scenes right. So that's on hold. Around the same time I heard this next song and thought it would be a brilliant and possibly insane thing to attempt to convey ingame.

A Fake, Fake, Psychotropic

Needless to say I've learned the most on a technical level from making this one. I've also learned actors that aren't you can be very troublesome to get in one spot!

I wasn't really ever going to make this topic... /blush
But some FC members urged me to. I think I've gotten them hooked on vocaloids as well.
I'm hoping to make more at some point. Maybe.

The editing is very well done, but.. sorry, this hurts my brain. But thats just personal preference, I just can't stand those vocaloid-autotunes.
Still, objectively a pretty good job

Thank you! Getting the lip sync to last roughly the right amount of time was probably the most time consuming part.

I appreciate the sentiment! Sure enough, vocaloid music isn't for everyone. I personally have very few Miku songs I like as I just don't like her voice. Which is why so far all my videos are songs sung by Gumi.
