Wasn't sure how many writers the game had, but I feel like whomever penned this one should be getting some attention.

Needs more Hildy, Greg, and Uncle Ulty.
Ulty was the best. =D
Hope he returns in the future.
Frankly most of the story was meh until that final pre/post battle cutscene. Need more shenaningans like that. The other quests had that. These... not so much sadly.
The Hildibrand questline is several kinds of awesome. Greg, Ultros, and those trial musics(da feels during the Ultros fight).
I'll agree that most of the A material was put into the end of this "episode", but I still got some laughs out of the earlier stuff, especially the reapparance of Greg and the running gag with Ultros getting injured. "A Case of Indecency" is still the high point of the Hildy quests so far, but I love all of them. I just can't get enough of these.
I have to agree with these sentiments; "A Case of Indecency" being the high point thus far, and the best parts of the Ultros material being on either end of the trial. I'm glad this series of side quests is touching upon the history of Belah'dia for its lore, as of all the civilizations in Eorzea it's the one I've been most curious about.
The 2.5 episode preview didn't have the usual "crossover teaser," which at first felt disappointing, but it's just as well. There are not many existing Final Fantasy characters left with the comedic potential of Gilgamesh or Ultros and if they're used, it should be sparingly. Save some for the expansion, y'know?
What other crossovers could be done? Only a few names spring to mind. The most likely is PuPu the alien; given the sky theme for Heavensward, finding a flying saucer would make sense. (Also, along with Gilgamesh and Ultros/Typhon, PuPu was a FFXIII-2 DLC battle, so it'd be in familiar company.) Perhaps the Magus Sisters? They're not as goofy as Greg or Ulty, but I could see them as squabbling siblings making for funny moments. Since the Golden Saucer coming soon, I could also offer Cait Sith, but then I always offer Cait Sith. No one else stands out, who else is there?

The Moogle siblings from 12, if the dev team doesn't mind drawing from that game again (the mandragoras were pretty awesome =P). You see them being sold by a Seeq early on in Arcahdes, but you later find that same Seeq moaning about how they beat the crap out of him. They might be fun to throw in. There's also GoGo and Umaro from VI to think on, as well.
I absolutely want to see some more well-known moogles such as Stiltzkin, Artemicion, Montblanc and such. There has to be a Postmoogle General out there, right? Umaro would be a fun cameo, and Gogo was in FFV and FFVI so it'd be cool for him to appear sometime as well. Actually, has it ever been established whether it's the same Gogo in both games? Is it possible that he has encountered both Gilgamesh and Ultros before?!
I like the hildibrand story so muchespecially the last 2-3 quests
