Sound cuts off and black screen

After around 5-8mins playing right after I log in, the sound just cuts off. The only thing I hear is the ambient noise, like the waves at Mist. *I can hear youtube and steam.
Also, after I exit the game, it goes to a black screen and the only way to get rid of it is by using task manager.

I forgot to note that I did a fresh re-install of the game and it didn't work lol

I'm not super tech savvy but why would I need to update my sound driver if I can everything else besides FF14?

because not everything uses the API's and drivers in the same way.

So how do I update my sound driver? Also, my headset is Logitech G930 and the logitech software is updated.

Yea but those fixes are if my headset cuts off randomly and I can't hear nothing from my computer.
My problem is that I can hear everything from my computer except for FF14 after 5mins when I click "Play".
So for example: Once I click play and just watch the opening cinematic or go to character creation, around ~5mins, the sound from only FF14 just cuts out. Then when I try to exit out the game, it goes to a black screen forcing me to use task manager to get rid of it.
This started happening the day before patch 2.4.

Okay so what's weird now is that like I said the opening movie has no sound BUT when you don't press anything and let game show prologue video, I do get sound from it! I don't understand and this got me more confused -.-

As this is a usb device, i wonder if the 8.1 changes to USB selective suspend, aren't to blame.
