PS3 - use a macro to toggle between hotbars?

Because NIN has a lot of commands that I'll need ready access to, I'd like to move teleport, sprint, and return to the third hotbar. Is there a command that I can use to have the hotbar switch immediately from the third hotbar back to the first after the teleport command? According to the text command info, it seems that "/chotbar display 1" is what I want, but I get an error message reading '"display" is not a valid subcommand'.

    Any thoughts please?

Well they're no friends of mine"

Yes, that doesn't answer my question.

I have 2 hotbars and I have L2+R2/R2+L2 enabled, I need to put less-used commands onto a third hotbar. In fact, in my post I twice said "third hotbar." :/

    Thanks though.

"/chotbar change 1" is the command to switch your current cross hotbar to #1. I don't know why they list "display" with /chotbar in the guide, as it makes no sense at all (display is for making KB hotbars visible/invisible; you only ever have one chotbar, and its visibility is controlled by other settings and/or pressing shoulder buttons). And I think /gaction "Teleport" would be the command for teleport, so you'd want to replace the teleport ability on your hotbar with a macro:

    /micon "Teleport" general
    /gaction "Teleport"
    /chotbar change 1

This won't work exactly like you want (Teleport pops up the list of destinations, and the hotbar will change immediately, rather than after you've selected a destination), but it's pretty close.

10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.

Maybe if you add in a /wait 20 after the /gaction command?

You can also control which hotbars (either regular or cross-hotbars) are active when your weapon is sheathed versus when it's drawn. You could set a hotbar with out-of-combat actions like teleport, plus whatever attack you use as an opening move to initiate combat and have that hotbar display when your weapon is sheathed. Then have a different hotbar with all your attack skills show once your weapon is drawn. That would give you a full two cross-bars (including L2+R2/R2+L2) worth of attacks without needing to take up part of that space for things like teleporting, calling a mount, etc.

I just go R1+X (3rd hot bar), launch Teleport, then R1+Triangle (first hot bar)... It's easy enough without the use of a macro
