They are cheaper than they were after 2.2
The soldiery duty reward is now like the myth duty reward was after 2.2. But the books have already cost 1500 myth after 2.2, so with only 500 sold after 2.4 it is cheaper.
Soldiery duty reward will increase again with 2.5, like it was with myth and 2.3
