Anyone noticed a significant different yet? I've only done like, 1 atma relic, and didn't bother with anymore because of the annoyance with the 1st. If it's better this time around I'll actually get the other 6 Atma relics I need.

Guildie got 3 different atma's in 15 minutes after the update, but who knows if the RNG demon was just playing games.
Yea I'm super curious because I've been getting mixed messages from my FC mates, some were saying they were getting atma every 3 out of 5 fates, others were saying they were getting literally nothing.
Considering original droprates were ~1%, it's going to be quite some time before we get enough data to determine how much they were increased by.
I discussed this with my FC mates yesterday after one of them mentioned getting an Atma crystal on nigh every FATE that they've done. We've discussed the increased drop rate, as were mentioned in the patch notes. Though the rate has been increased, I'm quite sure that it is still possible to not have the favor of the RNG gods and have zero Atma crystals drop after doing tents of FATEs over the span of ten or more hours.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
People lose track of time. The original rate was definitely not 1%. Why? Because people think they are completing 50 fates per hour when in reality most people average 10. Yes 10. That's one fate completed every 6 minutes. Traveling from one fate to another will average you 2 minutes, factor in a couple minutes of actual fate time, waiting for new fates to pop, etc. - you average around 10-15 per hour tops.
The average person finished the atma phase in 20-30 hours. If you do the math - it roughly comes out to a 5% drop rate. If it were a 1% drop rate, this thing would be averaging 100 hours for everybody.
The new drop rate seems to be around 15-20%.
Still at the mercy of RNG - they can make it 80% drop rate and you can still hit a dry spell - just ask any experience crafter in this game about RNG and you'll understand that in this game, unless its literally 100%, your forever at the mercy of RNG.
A classic example is Steady Hands II with Hasty Touch, 80% chance to land the touch, yet every once in awhile you'll fail 5 straight at 80%. Just how this game dick's with you.
yeah RNG rules, so some will get them quickly like after 2.4 and some will take a while
Someone in my FC got 8 atma yesterday. So I guess the rates have gone up significantly.
I finally got my 12th atma from my first FATE after patch. Where I had been spending the last month or so, semi AFK doing FATES if they would spawn on me. I would usually end up only doing 4-8 FATES a night.
Kind of off topic - But I noticed they raised the cost of books for the next part of the quest. My friends bought their books at 1,500Myth before patch and now they are 500Sold. When I Exchanged my myth for soldiery I got 500 Soldiery for my 2,000 Mythology so that's a 4 to 1 exchange rate, which means they upped the cost by 25% :/
