Hildibrand 2.4 [Spoiler Discussion]

So how do you all feel about this episode of Hildibrand?




For me it was great seeing the comedy like always and Ultros provided plenty of it. Along with all his famous quotes.

sad Season 1 is ending on 2.5 but I hope 3.0 will be the beginning of Hildibrand Season 2

Ultros is a lot harder than Gilgamesh (Though still an easy fight especially since it's not geared particularly high, but the instant wipe mechanics are still there), I've already seen people get booted and/or rage-quit from the instance for not clearing within the first few runs. Usually DPS.

Ah the classic "expect to get things down 1st run on 1st day release" people. ya it is annoying when people expect to get things down on 1st try during 1st day releases.

Though the only hard part of the fight is the imp stage for DDs where they have to keep getting the bubbles to stack while dodging the AoEs. After the 2 punch Typhons stages it is quite easy.

the Punch stage is much easy if DD players can remember that Ultros has a pattern to his bubble attack stage being Ultros bubbles, AoE, bubbles, AoE, Bubbles and Punch Typhons.

typhon random fire his AoE fire attack on stage 1 but it is easier to dodge and the AoE attack between Bubbles gives room for DD to spread out a bit if Typhon fire attacks someone and head back for bubble.

It's really starting to irritate me. Whole group of brand new people, they're actually making progress and getting through more of it, but then a couple people quit after 2-3 losses and then everyone else follows.

I've finished it for the quests but it's getting frustrating having everyone give up while going for the minion.

I ran it last night for minion, fresh group.
Several said first time here so I asked if they wanted to know tactics.
Tank told me to stfu, runs in, group wipes as I was trying to type while staying focused

Tank then blamed me for not telling them tactics... Then they ragequit, and rest slowly followed (though few stayed)
The mentality of some people amazes me sometimes
