I want to see my belly button. I rolled a female character because I enjoy the female physique. If I wanted to look big tough man, I'd have rolled a Roe.

That warrior soldiery armor on females with the man pecs looks absolutely ridiculous. Looks like I had to borrow it from my big brother or something. Please make all armors form fitting and gender specific in the future.

They have some beautiful armor for females at places like Deviant Art. Personally I haven't been thrilled with the look for females and many of the attractive female items are craft-able only with mats that are super hard to get. I certainly am not a fan of the unisex armor we've had to endure for paladin and warrior for example. If we get the same dark knight gear as males it'll go straight to glamour but seriously we work just as hard to earns to tomes to buy it and it would be nice if we could wear what we get without feeling the need to glamour it.

One doesn't have to have tons of skin but it would be nice if the look were at least feminine.

I rather not have people running around with no distinction to them. The helms in the forums are bad enough.

Noct gear is ugly on males too, with the exception of Highlander/Roegadyn (where it actually looks like it fits).

That's the point. They're saying a tank should look like a tank instead of having giant 'hit me here' windows in it like the DRG artifact armor does for females. I'd tend to agree, there's ways to make armor feminine without making it downright silly. Yes, we go into battle shirtless and in bikinis and whatnot, but that's a choice of glamour. We should also have a choice of actually looking like we're ready to go into battle instead of ready to jump on a stripper pole. *shrugs*
