    Spike Flail «-SF-» Recruiting

Spike Flail is recruiting All Jobs and Levels to bolster our ranks for 2.4.

Our Free Company is a guild made up of all walks of life; Casual Gamers, DoL, DoH, PVP, and End Game players. For the casuals, we offer housing in Mist with clean stables 24/7, supply of chocobo dyes, and training dummies to work on rotations. For our End Game players, we are running one solid raiding core that completed all content 2.3 had to offer and would like to expand that to a second group going into 2.4.

    Website:
Spike Flail - As mentioned, this site does have more WoW in it, we are using those forums (members section) as Lodestone kinda failed in terms of management purposes. Spike Flail houses both WoW players as well as XIV players.

    How to Apply:
If you’re interested in joining, please submit an application via Free Company Application (in-game)
    -or-
Send a message to any of the below Players:
    Elenia D’arquien
    Leaf Kin
    Me’rana Selaeya

(If you would like to know more about where we came from, please read below.)
    Spike Flail Origins:
A large number of our players came from Final Fantasy XI. We played on the Pandemonium server where our Linkshell (Guild) Kupo was one of the top English-speaking Linkshells in the world at the time. We had a number of accomplishments, including first world kill of the once 'impossible' monster Jailor of Love and the first to complete Blue Gartr's "Big Kills" list. We were some of FFXI's best.

Around the time of the release of The Burning Crusade (WoW), many of us had grown bored with the game and wanted a change of scenery. Like in Final Fantasy XI, our focus was on End Game content and challenging ourselves. Our accomplishments during BC and WoTL placed us at the top (Horde Side) on Ner’Zhul where we remained until the next expansion.

Sadly, life happens and we all accumulate more responsibilities. Many of our core raiders took a leave of absence due to RL changes. These conditions lead to dissolving the “End Game” progression guild known as Spike Flail.

    Fast forward to now…
A few core members played FFXV 1.0 (clearly masochists) through it’s entirely. Once 2.0 went live, many of our original core members from XI began to play again. We solidified a core group that has cleared all content 2.3 had to offer and are moving forward with 2.4. We are working to create a solid second group to run in tandem.
