    Try the offline DX9 runtimes--it's like 200 MB download that unpacks 4 or 5 standalone apps. They will unpack and copy over any of the older files you may be missing, and then it will register all the DLL's properly again. This usually fixes the issues with older DirectX issues since Windows Vista came out with that DX9 thunking model we are stuck with now.

    No it's not an N or KN version.

    Unfortunately I'm encountering the below error when trying to extract the Direct X files?

    Not sure what to do from here
