Meh. I would have one-shot Sastasha HM if it wasn't for that stupid dragoon LBing the 2nd boss at pull and then AFKing for the fight... We managed to go down to the last 2 adds before the inevitable wipe (can't protect the team with only one dps).

Qarn was way more difficult, in the sense that people can be very, very blind to obvious things. I had to make a macro with "adds", "guardian", and "boss" to get it done. Even like that, we were at 0.1s to wipe...

They are really easy honestly if you aren't half braindead :

Boss 1 : stun the tail screw (tank will be stunned just before after 50%, so have a dps do it or have a reactive healer) and esuna/leeches the debuff. Tailscrew will make its target have only 1 HP, so they'll die right after with the debuff if not healed in time.

Boss 2 : kill adds asap. dps the boss when he uses his gun to make him stop (same mechanic as the BLM mog in mog Ex) and kill rooting adds first (the slaves)

Boss 3 : kill the arms to avoid an attack (I never saw what it does, because my group tends to burn everything before thinking). Tentacles stun and throw you if you're too close). The boss shares damage with the arms and tentacles, so you can just dps the arms for the whole fight.

I liked all of the dungeons, since they provided the most challenge I've had in an instance since pre-nerf Pharos Sirius and Amdapor Keep. For once, I actually had to focus on healing instead of just casting Divine Seal/Regen on the tank and stepping into Cleric Stance.

We had troubles with the second boss only, for some reason he kept spamming his shotgun thing without end, getting a stack of damage boost every time, even when all the adds were down, until the healer finally got OOM and we wiped. It was kind of frustrating.

We figured it out after the first wipe. On first try, both DPS got destroyed in a matter of second, , and me as a tank hitting the Boss on my own didn't do enough damage for him to ever stop. At least, not until out WHM got OOM >.>

I’ve only done Sastasha HM with a Light FC Party so far and even though we were all over geared for the dungeon, you can still get overwhelmed if you do not know what to focus on. Things can go bad really fast if you don’t know the mechanics. We’ve experienced that first hand in our run. Hahaha.

We had some pretty funny moments on TeamSpeak because of it. We had 2 groups doing Sastasha HM, but the 2nd group started when the 1st group (the group i was in) was at the 2nd boss. So you could basically hear where the 2nd group was, based on their “Ow sh*t!” reactions. (^_^ )

All in all, i think the difficulty of the dungeon is ok. You just need to figure out what to focus on with each encounter and learn from there.

It also help that we now know what to expect, so we’ll be prepared the next time we enter the dungeon. (^_~ )

I would prefer the dungeon left as it is. The challenge is only a good thing, if you ask me. It'll be all the more satisfying for the player the complete the dungeon if he's previously struggled with it. That's how I felt with Pharos Sirius. Sure, I'd have some less-than-successful PS runs, but the ones that did fight till the bitter end were all the more satisfying.

I'm honestly getting a bit tired of this hand-holding. We're at lvl 50 with ilvl-I'velostcount, it's about time we learnt to mind our surroundings and learn our roles, yes? I know it would prepare me better for extreme primals or Coil if I didn't faceroll through the normal dungeons all the time.

I like harder 4 man content. It is also something nice for people who seek more of a challenge, but maybe don't want to get into coil or ex primals. I say make even harder ones then this even.

You can get up to an ilvl of 130 now in the game which will greatly speed up run times. The dungeons were designed in such a way that people in a full ilvl 110 group the old ilvl cap would still take awhile to kill the bosses so we didn't get a mythflox zone again which could be beat in 8 min.

Facerolled Sastasha. Usually I don't do dungeons since they're so pointless and way too easy. Didn't even do Haukke, Copperbell etc. I heard Sastasha was hard. It was not.
